Tuesday, January 31st, 2012
January came & went quick but it’s been very eventful and now there’s less than 3 weeks until Hatebreed leaves for Australia so I’m getting pumped for that! Dates & venues are in my last blog post if you want to come see a show, we’ll be on the Soundwave Festival w/ System Of A Down, Slipknot & more! Tickets are almost all sold out! http://www.soundwavefestival.com/

I’ve been compiling JASTA/HATEBREED/KINGDOM OF SORROW/ICEPICK fan photos, fan art, tattoos & more for our new websites, if you want to email yours in send it over to Erin at Stillborn. info@stillbornrecords.com

I’m excited to announce that over the weekend I sang a KILLER track that will be on POD’s new album! Make sure you hit up the guys on Twitter and tell them you are pumped to hear it! http://twitter.com/pod @SonnyWhosoever@MarcosCuriel @WUVYWUV @TraaPOD
http://payableondeath.com/ I will post more news on that when I get it. I think the album comes out in late spring.

I also ran the Tradition run up to Castle Craig in Meriden, CT this past weekend. It was sunny out so they said it was the biggest turn out they’ve had. Big respect to all who braved the cold and toughed it out! There’s such a beautiful view from the top. It’s a cool run because it’s all up hill and there’s no prize or registry or anything. It’s only for those who are up for a challenge.

I’ve been writing a lot of new riffs for the next Hatebreed album & compiling all my lyric ideas. Hopefully we’ll go demo some songs when we get back from Australia. Chris has sent me some awesome riffs, bass lines & drums ideas so we will have a lot of new material to work with and I think we’ll have some time before we head to South America with Lamb Of God in March/April. Here are those tour dates:

JASTA AND ALL THAT REMAINS SPLIT 7 INCH VINYL AVAILABLE IN PARTICIPATING RECORD STORES

Monday, November 28th, 2011

JASTA and All That Remains have recently released a limited edition split 7 inch blood red vinyl that was available exclusively on Record Store Day’s Black Friday event previously held on November 25th 2011 at participating stores.  The split 7 inch vinyl features two songs “Some of the People, All of the Time” off All That Remains latest album, For We Are Many, and “Mourn The Illusion” from Jamey Jasta’s debut album, JASTA.  The record was limited to a pressing of only 1,000 copies available worldwide.  The debut JASTA release is currently available for $7.99 at iTunes. “There’s lots of people who still buy vinyl to collect, so it’s cool to be able to do some vinyl with a band who is from our area and who is from the same scene,” says Jamey Jasta. “I’m a huge fan and supporter of indy record stores.  They’ve always supported my music and I wanted to make sure we gave fans something special.  Doing it with our friends in All That Remains makes it even sweeter.” “We come from the metal underground, and as such, when we were presented with the idea of doing a split with Jamey Jasta, who also comes from the underground, we were extremely excited about the idea,” adds Phil Labonte, (vocalist, All That Remains).

JASTA released his debut record simply titled “JASTA” this past summer via eOne Music. A record many years in the making, this is a very different project for Jasta. He explains in his own words. [http://youtu.be/vkzcHzPOUTE]
“JASTA has taken a few brave steps outside the confines of his life’s work and flirted with refreshing new sounds.” - Outburn Magazine Sept/Oct 2011
“‘The Fearless Must Endure,’ a huge sing-along that could be a cure for the ills that have plagued Headbangers Ball since Jasta left.” - Alt Press Aug 2011
“Wow, we never knew JASTA had it in him.” - Revolver Magazine July/Aug 2011
